I came to a NYCRHPS performance when I was fifteen. All my friends and I were super into Rocky in high school and I HAD to see the show for real when I came to New York for Christmas that year. It was amazing and I was hooked!

I hadn't worked for a theatre crew for about a year before I joined and I missed it terribly. One weekend I went to see the show on a whim and spoke to Tom about working on the crew and joined a few weeks later. It was completely perfect for me because I had always loved the movie and show, and had the chance to get back into work that I loved and to meet lots of fantastic people!

Ryan

Ryan had his first Rocky Horror experience in 2010, at the age of 14, when he saw it at The Palace Theatre, in his hometown of Syracuse, New York. He knew from that night on, his life had been changed forever. Since then, the words “Don’t Dream It, Be It” have been his life motto. In 2015, Ryan moved to NYC just a week after graduating cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell. In February of 2018 he finally joined the NYC Rocky Horror Cast, and fulfilled his dream role as Frank N Furter.

When Ryan isn’t wearing fishnets and doing the Time Warp, he is a licensed hairstylist and full time Broadway wig maker under the direction of Emmy nominee, Charles LaPointe. A small list of shows Ryan has worked on include: Hamilton, The Band’s Visit, The Cher Show and Ain’t Too Proud. Outside of his professional life, Ryan enjoys singing with The Stonewall Chorale, reading Buddhist literature, and is an animal rights activist and environmentalists.
